Sign Up for a CPH “Neighbour Dialogue Session”

Let’s make sure they can’t sweep this under the rug:

Yesterday, some residents closest to the proposed Cambie Permanent Housing (CPH) site received a notice in the mail informing them that there are limited spots to sign up for 1 of 4 “short presentation and small-group Q&A” sessions hosted by the city, BC Housing, and Community Builders on:

  1. Monday, September 9 · 4 – 5:30pm
  2. Monday, September 9 · 6:30 – 8pm
  3. Tuesday, September 10 · 4 – 5:30pm
  4. Tuesday, September 10 · 6:30 – 8pm

The location of these sessions were deliberately undisclosed on the invitation materials, but members who have signed up received confirmation that the location will be at:

Richmond Cultural Centre Performance Hall (next to Richmond Library)
7700 Minoru Gate, Richmond, BC V6Y 1R9 (Google maps)

The city has also highlighted that they will be checking your ID and cancelling the registration of Richmond residents who “do not have an address in this area”.

Despite the questionable format of these events, we strongly encourage those in area to sign up to express your opposition and to make sure your voices are heard.
